We take the quality of our products and the level of our services very seriously. Customer satisfaction plays a key role in our business. We believe that continuous improvement is the basis of any modern company and a guarantee of staying on the market. In 2009, we implemented a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001. The implementation resulted in the possibility of stricter control over the production process, better information flow, creating the basis for effective self-improvement, and from the customer’s point of view, more reliable protection of maintaining the required quality. In June 2016, we received the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate. We chose TÜV Rheinland as the certifying organization.

Management system
The cooperative is now located in one plant - at ul. Wybicki. The company is looking for new solutions to stay on the market. The result of this search is the purchase of a Bystronic laser, LVD and later a Mazak laser and two press brakes. The introduction of a new technology allows the Cooperative to develop a new branch. The company begins its expansion in the industry of steel and aluminum structures as well as machine components. The services provided include the manufacture of elements for ground and sea wind farms, construction elements for buses and excavators (e.g. for VOLVO, MAN, TEREX, BOMAG), components for the machine industry. The plant invests in modern design software. In 2009, a non-certified quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 is implemented.

The beginning of the 90s
At the beginning of the 90s, the Cooperative produces a wide range of construction and furniture fittings. It has its own products protected by patent law, incl. shelving, mortise door locks, door shields, rodent traps, pallet hinges. The plant supplies hypermarkets with locks, padlocks, door handles and portable suitcase grills.

SKR BASE
In 1983, the company buys the former SKR base, which it expands and equips with machines over the next three years (this is Plant No. 2 at Wybickiego Street in Bytów - the present seat of the Cooperative).
The 1980s is a period when the plant employs over 300 people and carries out about 80% of the national production of patent locks. Up to half a million hinges are produced daily. The company contributes to many local projects, including patronizes the local School and Educational Center and supports the Orphanage. The plant begins to take its first steps on foreign markets, i.e. European and Asian.

Multi-branch Cooperative of the Disabled in Bytów
In 1956, the Cooperative changed its name to "Wielobranżowa Spółdzielnia Inwalidów in Bytów" and registered its first trademark. During this period, the company has a wide range of clothing items, such as towels, underwear for children and babies, coats, work clothes, jackets, pants, overalls, coats and shoes. There are also brush and metal products, e.g. baking sheets, bathtubs. At the beginning of the 1960s, the plant strongly developed a network of homeworkers who work for it in their own workshops. The company specializes in the production of wooden boxes, handles, brushes, buckets, hangers and latches. The first locks are also produced. The cooperative invests in a machine park (including presses and drills) and begins to implement its own products in the metal industry: hinges, energy manual drives, buckets, metal baskets, simple brass cylinder inserts and construction fittings. The company's scope of activity covers the entire former Słupsk voivodeship.

Cooperative of the Disabled in Bytów
Cooperative of the Disabled in Bytów "METAL" was established in May 1951 under the name "Cooperative of the Disabled in Bytów". The aim of its activity was professional and social activation of disabled people, who constituted a large percentage of the population in the post-war years. At the beginning of its existence, the Cooperative employed over a dozen members and several dozen candidates for members. In the initial phase of operation, several service points were launched: shoemakers, tailors, hairdressers, underwear. In the following years, the range of services was expanded, including o point: saddlery, carpentry, brush, well, metal, stove-painting, glass.
