Multi-branch Cooperative of the Disabled in Bytów
In 1956, the Cooperative changed its name to "Wielobranżowa Spółdzielnia Inwalidów in Bytów" and registered its first trademark.
During this period, the company has a wide range of clothing items, such as towels, underwear for children and babies, coats, work clothes, jackets, pants, overalls, coats and shoes. There are also brush and metal products, e.g. baking sheets, bathtubs.
At the beginning of the 1960s, the plant strongly developed a network of homeworkers who work for it in their own workshops. The company specializes in the production of wooden boxes, handles, brushes, buckets, hangers and latches. The first locks are also produced.
The cooperative invests in a machine park (including presses and drills) and begins to implement its own products in the metal industry: hinges, energy manual drives, buckets, metal baskets, simple brass cylinder inserts and construction fittings. The company's scope of activity covers the entire former Słupsk voivodeship.
